About Us

Sokol Associates, began as Jack Sokol & Associates and was founded by John (Jack) Sokol in 1955. He set out in the summer of that year fulfilling a dream of starting a sales agency and new career.  He had plenty of motivation, supporting a wife and 6 children and a commitment to meet and exceed his customers’ expectations and those of the manufacturers the agency represented. 

Paul Sokol joined the agency in 1974 and took over the leadership role from Jack in 1984 and lead the agency into the 21st century. The agency became Sokol Associates, Incorporated and by way of modernization created a more efficient and effective agency which grew to become a major force in sales and marketing in the outdoor industries.

 Jonathan (Jon) Sokol joined the agency in 2004 as it expanded into the Rocky Mountain States. He now leads the company bringing a new vision and a team mentality while maintaining  the historically successful roots of the agency. His perspective and energy continues to lead Sokol Associates forward as a force in the outdoor industry.

Throughout the 65+ years of its existence the core principle to not only meet - but to exceed the expectations of the customers and that of the manufacturers it represents has remained the central focus of the agency.  Our team currently consists of 15 individuals that strive every day to fulfill that vision and continue to evolve in order to meet the new challenges of today’s market place.  That focus has solidified a reputation of honesty and integrity that both customers and manufacturers can depend on.
